African Milk Tree is a type of succulent, not a true species of cactus. This plant is a tall-growing branching succulent. This leafy cactus-like succulent has a central stem with branches that grow upward. Along the ridges of the stems are thorns and small oval-shaped leaves.
CARE for the Euphorbia trigona (African Milk Tree): Thrives when growing in filtered bright light, well-draining potting soil, and low to average humidity. Water the succulent when the soil dries. The minimum temperature is 55°F (12°C). Apply a balanced fertilizer monthly during the growing season (Spring - summer).
